Peptides are short chains of two or more amino acids (typically 2-50) that act as building blocks for proteins like collagen and elastin. As essential signaling molecules, they tell cells to perform functions like producing collagen, reducing inflammation, or regulating hormones.
Our peptides are supplied as lyophilized (freeze-dried) powder in sterile, sealed glass vials. This form ensures maximum stability and shelf life. Each vial is individually labeled with the compound name, batch number, and quantity.
Unreconstituted peptides should be stored at -20°C for long-term storage or 2-8°C (refrigerated) for short-term use. Once reconstituted, peptides should be stored at 2-8°C and used within 30 days. Proper storage ensures potency and stability throughout the shelf life.
Bacteriostatic water is sterile water that contains 0.9% benzyl alcohol as a preservative. It is used to reconstitute lyophilized peptides for research applications. The benzyl alcohol inhibits bacterial growth, allowing the solution to be used for multiple withdrawals.
Third-party testing means an independent, accredited laboratory — not affiliated with Velari — performs the analytical testing. This ensures unbiased, objective results for identity, purity, and contaminant screening.
A COA is a document issued by the testing laboratory that reports the results of all analytical tests performed on a specific batch. It includes purity percentage, identity confirmation, and any contaminant screening results.
Each batch undergoes identity verification, purity analysis via HPLC, endotoxin screening via LAL testing, and sterility documentation. Results are published on the Certificate of Analysis (COA) available for each product.
All Velari products meet a minimum purity threshold of 99% as verified by HPLC analysis. Many products exceed this baseline. Exact purity percentages are documented on each batch-specific COA.

Orders can be modified or cancelled within 1 hour of placement. After that, orders enter processing and cannot be changed. Please contact support@velarilabs.com immediately if you need to make changes.

Due to the nature of research chemicals, we cannot accept returns on opened or reconstituted products. Unopened items in original packaging may be returned within 14 days of receipt. Please contact support for return authorization.
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery with photos of the damaged items and packaging. We will arrange a replacement at no additional cost.
